Mata Amritanandamayi Devi to inaugurate Assembly of Sanyasins

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Mata Amritanandamayi Devi will inaugurate an assembly of sanyasins at Sivagiri Mutt at Varkala near here on September 24 as part of the platinum jubilee celebrations of the Sivagiri pilgrimage, started by saint-reformer Sree Narayana Guru.

Sanyasins and religious scholars representing different mutts and institutions from around the country would participate in the event, Swamy Rithambharananda, general secretary of Sree Narayana Dharma Sanghom Trust told a press meet today.

The same day the ‘Sree Narayana divya jyothis prayanam’ would set out from the Sivagiri Mutt on a month-long state-wide campaign to spread the message of the Guru.
