Marad: Notification on CBI probe

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: The government issued a notification to facilitate investigation of the Marad violence and related incidents by the Central Bureau of Investigation (CBI). This is on the basis of the recommendation of the Thomas P. Joseph Commission of Enquiry for a CBI probe into the incident on Marad beach near Kozhikode on May 2, 2003.
