Marad commssion to submit report in Feb

The Marad Judicial Inquiry Commission, which has completed its mission, is likely to submit its report in late Febraury. 

The Commission’s tenure will expire on Feb 22 and before that the report would be submitted, the Commission, Justice Thomas P Joseph was quoted as saying in Kozhikode.

The government had appointed the Inquiry Commission on Dec 04, 2003 after the brutal killing of eight fishermen at Marad on May 03, 2003.

During this period the Commission examined 121 witnesses while 622 documents were presented before it.
