Marad commision rejects NDF demand for copy of Int.report

The Marad Judicial Inquiry Commission has rejected the demand of the NDF for a copy of the intelligence report relating to the Marad massacre.  Dismissing the petition filed by the NDF after hearing the arguments, the Inquiry Commission, Mr Thomas P Joseph, said that the reports could be shown to anybody and these confidential documents would be used by the Commission only and would not be  publicized.


 


The Commission has also ordered the NDF to submit a report explaining in detail as to why it needed the trial of four people including Abdul Nasser Madani, currently in Coimbatore jail in connection with the bomb blasts there during the visit of Mr L K Advani, by the Commission before Dcec 02.
