Mannam jayanthi festival from Sunday
The 129th jayanthi festival of Mannathu Padmanabhan will be held at Mannam Nagar, Perunna, Changanassery on January 1 and 2.
The celebrations will begin with the offering of floral tributes at the Mannam Samadhi on Sunday.
The All-Kerala Nair Delegates Meet will be held at 10.30 am. NSS president P V Neelakanda Pillai will preside over the function. General secretary P K Narayana Panickkar will address the delegates.
Various arts programmes will be staged from 3 pm. The programmes include a nagaswaram concert by Tiruvizha Jayasankar and team, ganamela led by playback singer K S Chithra and a kathakali performance
