MAN KILLS THREE MEMBERS OF A FAMILY
Nov 4 Three members of a family were allegedly
hacked to death by a man at Orumanayoor near Guruvayur early today,according to reports reaching here.
Police were quoted as saying that the Navas (28) has tried to commit suicide after committing the crime by cutting the vein of his hand. He has been admitted to the Hospital and stated to be in critical condition.
The victims were Ramachandran (45), his wife Latha (40) and
daughter Chitra (10). His mother Karthyani (80), who sustained
serious injuries was hospitalised, the report said.
Navas,who is said to be involved in many criminal
cases, has entered the house of Mr Ramachandran after climbing the wall and murdered the three persons, while they were asleep.
The deceased Ramachandran had earlier lodged a complaint to the
police against Navaz for allegedly harassing his wife Latha. This
was said to be the reason for the murder, police was quoted as saying.
