Kollam: A giant stage that proclaims and symbolizes the importance of the Mahasanghik is coming up on the lines of Cosmic Vision given by Lord Krishna to Arjuna. The stage coming up at the historic Asramam grounds is 36 feet tall and could accommodate 200 persons. The spot for the dhwaj, in circular shape, is also getting ready in front of the stage.

Elaborate arrangements are being made for food supplies, which is quite important for the Sanghik, under the leadership of G. Suresh Babu who is supported by 10 fellow activists, Ajith, Satyan, Baiju, Sreekumar, Raju, Sasikumar, Kunjumon, Prasad, Subhash, and Varadaraju. This team has been providing food on time for those engaged in various activities like stage erection, electrification, sanghastan, and security. Food arrangements have been made at AYK Auditorium for 3000 band musicians who will participate in the Ghosh camp to be conducted as part of the Mahasanghik. Suresh Babu said that all preparations have been made for the same. Food arrangements have also been planned out for those who would stay in 10 auditoriums in Kollam town.

Arrangements have been made for food packets, while returning, for around 35,000 people who are expected from northern Kerala districts beginning with Palghat. These food packets would be arranged with the help of Kollam Puthiyakavu Devaswom and Matha Amritanandamayi Mathom, and provided to the Vehicle In-Charge through the District In-Charge. Necessary steps have been taken to provide food for expatriate Keralites and people from other states. Twelve snack stalls are ready to serve those who attend the sanghik.

Meanwhile the reception committee would be inaugurated today at 6 pm at the Asramam grounds, the venue of the Mahasanghik, and the committee would meet thereafter, according to Organizing Committee General Secretary, Rajan Karoor.
