Letter bombs exploded in Thiruvananthapuram

Thiruvananthapuram: Four “letter bombs” were detected by postal officials here, of which two exploded here today 


The first bomb exploded at the Manacaud post office in the heart of the capital city when the postal officials were sorting letters for delivery. The second bomb was exploded in Kesavadasapuram in a hardware shop while the owner was opening a letter.


President A.PJ. Abdul Kalam is visiting the state capital Today, Security has been tightened all over the city.


Investigation started under south zone IG Arun Kumar Sinha, Police warned public not to open any suspicious or unknown letter
