A Kerala Police team on Wednesday questioned LeT fund-raiser Sarfaraz Nawaz, a key accused in the Bangalore bombings case, with regard to a book titled “Islam and Democracy”, which contained anti-national contents. He was questioned in the Parappana Agrahara prison in Bangalore by a team led by Aluva Police Sub-Inspector Ramesh Kumar. The book, translated into Malayalam by one Sarfaraz Nawaz, was seized during a raid on the house of a Popular Front of India leader. The police had got clear leads to believe that the LeT man himself was the book’s translator.
