Alappuzha: At a reception given to his Janayatra at Charumoodu in the district, Krishnadas alleged that the CPM state secretary Pinarayi Vijayan was trying to become the Managing Director of the CPM Ink, which is having assets worth crores.

He said that the only difference between the CPM rule of 1957 and the present one was that the corruption charge raised against the then Food Minister was Rs 1.15 crore where as the graft charges levelled against Pinarayi was Rs 375 crore.

Earlier, addressing a rally at Alappuzha, Krishnadas urged the State Government to publish a list of Punnapra-Vayalar martyrs.

He also said that the BJP never considered the Punnapra- Vayalar uprising freedom struggle.
