Both the ruling and opposition fronts in Kerala have unanimously passed a resolution in the state assembly demanding granting of parole to the known terrorist Abdul Nasser Madni.

The decision of both the parties to jointly demand parole for Madni who is lodged in the Coimbatore Central Jail for his alleged involvement in the bomb blasts there, which claimed 60 lives besides destroying properties worth over  100 crores, is a clear manifestation of the minority appeasement policy of these political parties.

The resolution was passed at a special session of the assembly to pass a bill on the Dam’s Height. Both the fronts have hurriedly passed the resolution in view of the ensuing assembly polls.
