Large quantities of explosives arrive in Kerala

Explosives are allegedly being brought into Kerala in large quantities for handing over to anti-national and extremist forces operating in the state.


 


The number of carriers of such explosives is on the increase in the state, the State Intelligence department have found out, the Kerala Kaumudi has reported today.


 


Approved License-holders are allegedly bringing large quantity of explosives in to state and then transfer to extremists at exorbitantly high prices, it said adding, much of it lands in the hands of the terrorist groups operating in the state.


 


The explosives recently found in the cloak-room of the Kozhikode Bus Stand was reportedly supplied by a Kodungallur-based licensee.
