Kollam in a festive mood; ‘Ghosh Sanchalan’ today

KOLLAM — Ahead of the RSS ‘Mahasaankhik’ set to take place here on
Wednesday, a ‘Ghosh Sanchalan’ or announcement march with a musical
band will be held on Tuesday at 5pm.

2500 specialist players of musical instruments from the four districts of Thiruvananthapuram, Kollam, Alappuzha and Pathanamthitta will take
place in the announcement march that will awaken residents of Kollam
to the historic meeting set to take place the next day.

Setting out from Anandavallishwaram Temple’s ground, the ‘ghosh
sanchalan’ will pass through Lakhsminada, Main Round and Chinnakada
before ending at Ashramam Maidan.

All arrangement for the massive meeting of RSS workers are now
complete. Even seats for all Sangh workers from Kasargod to Parassala
have been clearly marked.

Special gates for entrance to the ground have been created for RSS
workers from the seven regions of the state. Different colours have
been given for the seven regions. Saffron, indigo, red, sky blue,
green, white and brown coloured gates and flags have been allotted to
the seven regions. A reception counter for participants in the Saankhikh
will start functioning at Kollam railway station from today (Tuesday).

Livestream of the program in which 100,000 RSS workers in
‘ganavesham’ (khakhi and white uniform) are participating will be
available on 24 from 3 pm to 8pm at www.rsskerala.com. The program in which RSS chief (sarsanghachalak) Mohan Bhagwat is participating begins at 5.30pm.
