State BJP president PK Krishnadas has said that fundamentalist forces are taking advantage of the weakness of the LDF Government and warned that if appropriate action was not taken immediately then the State would slowly turn into another Kashmir.

The BJP leader was addressing the mediapersons after the two-day State committee meet of the party.

Krishnadas also lashed out against Paloli Mohammed Kutty for not tendering his resignation despite the vehement criticism by the High Court.

The State committee meet has decided that the State president would undertake a yatra from April 30 to May 17 in all 140 Assembly consituencies highlighting that BJP is the alternative to both the fronts which have failed in meeting the people’s expectations.

BJP has also formed a five-member disciplinary action committee led by senior party leader from Malappuram K Vasudevan and another committee for looking into electoral affairs led by PP Karunakaran.

A senior leader of the party while speaking to The Pioneer said, “BJP is now working like a well oiled machine and in the days to come we will emerge as the true Opposition and the party has chalked out agitations and other programmes to highlight the failure of the LDF Government in the State and the UPA Government in the Centre”.
