Kerala Police behaving like ‘volunteer force’ of the CPM

published on November 2, 2007

Palakkad:P.K.Krishnadas, BJP state president said that the CPM has become restless ever since a BJP member had been elected from one of the wards in the local body elections in Malampuzha. The house of the BJP member was damaged and inspite of complaints to police nothing was done.

A BJP activist was seriously injured by suspected CPM activists two months ago but no one has been arrested. The police was behaving like a ‘volunteer force’ of the CPM.

The police should first disclose how many cases have been registered against CPM activists in the political clashes which occurred in the last one and- a-half years in Malampuzha.
