The Kerala evangelist, Dr Samuel Thomas of Emmanuel Ministry, operating from Kota in Rajasthan who also the son of Bishop Dr M A Thomas the founder of the ministry, has been arrested by the Rajasthan Police from New Delhi in connection with the publishing of the controversial Book “Hakeekat”.

The book allegedly contains writings projecting the Hindu Gods and Goddesses in obscene language and the issue had rocked the Parliament recently.

The Rajasthan police has already arrested the administrator of the Emmanuel Institutions in Kota Mr R S Nair and Orphanage In charge V S Thomas and one Darris after publishing the book.

Large number of missionaries from Kerala are operating in the rural areas of several North Indian states with overseas financial assistance and the tacit support of several Indian pseudo-secular political parties. These organisations are engaged in proselytizing and it is clearly manifested in the increase in the Christian population in these states which had only Christian nurses and other  skilled workers from Kerala in the past.
