Kerala BJP condemns ‘Red Brigades’ violent stance

published on September 23, 2014

The state unit of Bharatiya Janata Party has condemned the stance of violence adopted by CPM, stating that the ‘Red Brigade’ has issued a challenge to citizens by sticking on to its policies of violence. Addressing a mammoth gathering at the inaugural session of Janshakthi Yatra in Koilandi, state BJP leader CK Padmanabhan said that those wishing for peace should be made to unite against the politics of bloodshed.

Exhorting the people to make use of Janshakthi Yatra slogans of ‘Independence’, ‘Peace’ and ‘development’, CKP said, “Only a fortified organization that has its roots deeply entrenched inside, can forgive. But, inspite of this, nothing can be forgotten. The murder that took place in Kannur was planned and decided by CPM leadership. All investigation reports point to the same. Not just murderers, but also those who prompted them to do the crime should be brought before the court of law. CPM leadership fears that a CBI investigation will spill a whole lot of beans.
