Kannur Model Terror extended to Thiruvananthapuram; BJP candidate Athira attacked by Marxist goons

Thiruvananthapuram: Marxists have yet again unleashed an attack on BJP’s candidates, this time in the state capital. JR Athira of Kalippankulam ward was attacked by goons of the red brigade as she was returning home with her father after hectic campaigning. She has been admitted to the hospital.

According to sources, Athira and her father Raveendranath halted at BJP’S booth number two, when she realized that the entire place was vandalized. The Marxist goons who were in the vicinity appeared on the scene and unleashed violence. Booth agent Rajesh who tried to intervene was also badly. Situation was brought under control by police who arrived there immediately.
