Mananthavady : Police arrested a CPM activist Jomi
(32) in connection with smuggling highly explosive materials through Waynadu to
Kannur district.


 

This is the second seizure within a week, Earlier more
than 100 Gelatin sticks and 100 detonators were seized in the routine check in
the Karnataka- Kerala border.


 

In all these cases Police officers are told not to
proceed with the investigation. Heavy contingent of arms and explosives are
bought to the state in order to target Hindu leaders and Activists in Kannur
district.
