K M Mani’s Communal Budget – 25 Lakhs from State Treasury to Alphonsa Church

via HK published on July 11, 2011

Thiruvananthapuram: In the Revised State Budget presented by K M Mani presented on Friday has been already dubbed as “PPP” budget. It does not mean public-private participation but Pala (Mani’s constituency), Poonjar (the seat of his party associate PC George) and Panakkad (the headquarters of Muslim League). These areas had allegedly got the major chunk of development proposals in the Budget.

Our democracy have been turned into a sham for years now – And public have turned very much passive and have lost the agitating mentality against injustices long ago.

Setting a new Precedent, K M Mani of Christian congress has allotted 25 lakh Rupees from state treasury for the development of
Bharananganam Alphonsa Church. No single penny reaches state treasury from any of these churches – Then in the name of what secularism are these money siphoned of from state treasury? If it is to Alphonsa Church this year , it will be Juma Masjid next year and this secular loot will go on and on. At the same time money from the temples are cleverly routed into state treasury.
