Strongly criticizing the UDF and the LDF in Kerala for jointly demanding the release of Abdul Nasser Madani, one of the main accused in the Coimbatore Bomb blast case, the former Union HRD Minister and senior BJP leader, Dr Murali Manohar Joshi said that it was surprising to see that there are political parties that are taking up the cases of “terrorists”.

Dr Joshi, who is here to campaign for the BJP candidate, the former Union Minister, Mr O Rajagopal, while speaking at a press meet said that it was difficult to believe that a civilised society like that of Kerala would agree with the parties that demand the relaase of Madani.
“Both the LDF and the UDF were saying that they were opposed to terrorism. At the same time they were taking up the case of terrorists. How could this ambivalence be justified?”, he asked.
Joshi said that the people of the state had understood the BJP as a true alternative and hence the party would open account in Kerala assembly this time.
