Thiruvananthapuram:The Central intelligence agencies have asked the State Government to be on high alert, as the verdict on sentences of the Coimbatore blast cases will be pronounced from Monday.

The intelligence agencies are of the opinion that there is a feeling among terror operatives that Kerala is a soft target given the lethargy on the part of the State police.

Agencies are studying closely  the recent formation of the People’ Front an umbrella organisation of Jihadi terrorist’s of South India and the initiative was taken by the Kerala-based terrorist organization National Development Front.

Its activists are allegedly involved in several murders in the State. According to sources in the intelligence agencies, this organisation is capable of creating confusion in Tamil Nadu and Kerala. With Madhani mellowing down, NDF would directly take the mantle from him. This is one of the angles, which the intelligence agencies have been probing.
