Jailed UDF leader Balakrishna Pillai to be released in the name of Amnesty!

THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Making a mockery of Law of Land, Jailed UDF leader and former minister R. Balakrishna will be released Tuesday as part of an Amnesty Scheme of Kerala Government. The 76-year-old ruling coalition leader was handed a one-year jail term in February this year by the Supreme Court after being convicted in a corruption case.
