It’s CPI(M) against Minorities not RSS-IUML
CPI-M blames RSS to absolve responsibility for violence: IUML
Alleging that the CPI-M was behind the attack on Haj pilgrims in the district on Tuesday, the Indian Union Muslim League today accused the ruling party in Kerala of putting the blame on the RSS-BJP workers to absolve itself of “mounting” political clashes in the state.
The attack on Haj pilgrims at Kadavathur made it clear that the CPI-M always stood against the minorities’ interests, IUML General Secretary P K Kunhalikutty told reporters.
“The CPI-M is engaged in unleashing terror in the states where it rule and the situation in Nandigram in West Bengal is more or less the same,” the leader of IUML, a constituent of opposition UDF, said at Kadavathur.
“Right thinking people should join hands to condemn the despicable act on the Haj pilgrims by the CPI-M activists at Kadavathur,” he said.
Kunhalikutty along with other UDF leaders visited Kadavathur near Thalassery where the Haj pilgrims, on their way to the Kozhikode airport, were attacked damaging five of their vehicles and injuring a woman pilgrim.
