Islamic terrorists may target Kerala – Red alert in Kochi

Kochi: Kochi city has been put on Red alert Friday following a warning by the intelligent agencies and Union Home ministry of a possible Islamic terrorist attack in Kochi any time.
The state government and the city police commissioner has been put on high alert on the basis of intelligence reports, according to Union home ministry.
Security has been beefed up in and around the city. Strict checking is being conducted on vehicles, boats and at hotels, etc.
