Thiruvananthapuram: The Kerala chapter of ISIS baptised as  Ansar Ul Kahleefa had plans of unleashing riots in Kerala and heaping the blame on Rashtriya Swayamsevak Sangh.

The plan was to assassinate Marxist leader P Jayarajan and make sure that the RSS stands blamed. The plan was to create riots, under the guise of which five prominent RSS-BJP leaders of the state would be murdered, which would ensure that Kerala becomes a cauldron of riots.

The ploy was to assassinate state leaders of BJP-RSS Kummanam Rajashekharan, Valsan Thillankeri, K Surendran, MT Ramesh and PK Krishnadas, making way for a never ending saga of animosity between the already warring parties.
The plan was to execute the entire plot during the time the National Executive meet of BJP was taking place in Kozhikode. It was however averted with the timely intervention of informers working on behalf of NIA officials.  The ISIS motto of killing Jayarajan was to avenge the murder of NDF (Current Popular Front) activist Fazal.

The terror network operatives had also plotted the assassination of High Court judges Justice KT Shankaran (who was chiefly instrumental in exposing to the outside world the terror trap of Love Jihad, in 2009- 10) &  Justice Kemal Pasha who exposed discrimination faced by women under Muslim personal law.

Upright police office SP Unni Raja was instrumental in exposing Popular Front conspiracy behind the talibanic act of Professor Joseph’s hand chop.

Justice Shankaran had sought a detailed report on the proceedings of Love Jihad from state police. The police report entailed how girls of other religious communities were rapidly converting to Islam after having fallen into the bait of Love Jihad. Those days the High Court judge faced threats, with posters having the menacing message “Touch Islam and your hands will be charred” scrolled, were plastered near his residence.
