International Sreekrishna Kendram administrative office inaugurated

KOCHI : The administrative office of the International Sreekrishna Kendram was inaugurated by Justice K.S. Paripoornan here. The new administrative office is started to speedup the land acquiring and construction works of the Kendram.  


 


Bharateeya Vichara Kendram director P. Parameswarn, RSS Prantha Sanghchalak P.E.B. Menon, Bank Of Baroda Manager T.P. Prasannan were among the prominent personalities attended the inauguration function. Bala Samskara Kendram director and veteran RSS Pracharak M.A. Krishnan spoke on the progress of ISK as on date.


 


The 31 Crores multi purpose project spreads over 100 acres of land was initiated by Balagokulam – Kerala. The project will be focused mainly to establish an institution designed to portray Sreekrishna’s life, teachings and actions, in simple and lucid manner. Thus any visitor to the centre (children, youth and adults – both from India and abroad) will be amplified by the all pervading nature of Sreekrishna, the Upholder of Dharma, the Annihilator of Adharma, the profounder of a philosophy seeing the whole universe as one family. In addition, the visitor will also be able to understand and appreciate the contributions of our ancient masters towards moulding an ideal society that loved to live in peace, poise and harmony and to accept aging gracefully.



The main  objectives of ISK will be :


 


ü     To spread the message of universal love and brother-hood (Vasudhaiva Kudumbakam).


 


ü     To act as a forum for people of all religions and nationalities to meet and understand the ideals of SreeKrishna.


 


ü     To function as a centre for education to children on Indian heritage, culture and spirituality.


 


ü     To establish a model village at the centre to showcase our cultural, customary and traditional values and practices as  well as the various arts, crafts, fine arts, folk art dance forms etc. and much more.


 


ü     To cooperate and establish links with other like minded institutions in India and abroad with a view to bring together all working on the same goals.


 


ü     To promote opportunities to all in preserving and improving upon traditional Indian values through interaction in formal and informal meetings.


 


ü      To conduct conferences/seminars/workshops on the above objectives.


 


ü   To preserve all kinds of native art forms depicting the life and actions of SreeKrishna.


 


ü      To create eco-friendly atmosphere by setting up Goshalas in the village.


 


ü     To create centres for Yoga & Meditation, Ayurveda & Naturopathy and other forms of holistic medicines.
