In midst of Sarana Ghosha, Kshetra Raksha Yatra started

Kasargode: Aimed to liberate Temples from the clutches of Government, Kshetra Raksha Yatra started here on May 9th Wednesday.


 


‘Ayyappa Rath’ commenced the journey from Sri Malikarjuna Temple. Uduppi Pejayar Swami Viswesaratheertha handed over the jyothi lit from Sri Mookambika temple in Kollur to Swami Ayyapadas.


 


The whole area reverberated with Ayyapa chantings when the Ayyapa idol was placed in the Rath by Pejavar Swami. Special poojas were offered, saffron flag was hosted in the Dwajasthamb of Temple. Hindu Aikya Vedi District President A.Karunakaran Master presided over the meeting organized.


 


Pejavar swamiji blessed the yatra and wished “let this yatra awaken’s the sleeping Hindus of Kerala and let them arise to protect their Temples”.Swamiji told the situation in Kerala is pure religious discrimination against Hindus and a Secular government has no right to interfere or control the Temples of Hindus.


 


HAV State President Kummanam Rajasekharan warned, Government will have to face severe consequences if tried to capture more Temples apart from existing ones. HAV will organize devotees of those 23 Temples in Malabar which received Govt. Order and start wide spread agitation. Temple properties and donation by Devotees is not public money which can be moved into Government Treasury but of the Hindus in the country and it should be strictly only for the betterment of Hindu society and Temples.


 


Kundar Raveesa Thanthri,Swami Jnananda Saraswathi,Maradu Suresh,V.R.Sathyavan,E.S.Biju,Vishnu Ambra,Velayudhan Kodavalam,Pramod Kumar and several other HAV leaders and devotees were present.
