Illegal religious conversions : HAV lodged complaint to Ernakulam Collector

KOCHI : Hindu Aikya Vedi Organizing Secretary Shri. Kummanam Rajasekharan today lodged a complaint to the Ernakulam district collector for the immediate deportation of foreign Pastor Randy Basin & his wife Kimberly Basin.

 

Randy Basin, a foreigner from USA is conducting religious conventions in several stations in Ernakulam District. His wife Kimberly Basin is also accompanying him in the religious programes for converting Hindus to Christianity. Randy Basin has been blacklisted at Chicago consulate of India so he collected visa from San Francisco and Washington with renewed passport for conducting business. As per Rules a person visiting for conducting business, is not competent to conduct or attend religious programmes. But as per the directions from Randy Basin and his wife a conversion programe for ladies at YMCA Eranakulam on 6^th March 2007 was conducted. At present, they conducted religious conversion program in A.J.Hall, Kaloor, Ernakulam from 14^th June to 16^th June 2007. In this program, about five other foreign woman also attended. They are touring Kerala under tourist visa violating visa rules and regulations.

 

In the year 2002, Randy Basin illegally conducted mass conversion programme without any authority to do so. It is understood from Embassy Sources that the Chicago Consulate of India black listed him due to the above said activity. They presently settled in Chackolas Apartment, Kundanoor, Thevara, Kochi and an office opened in International Stadium ( Infopark) Annexe.

 

Moreover it is informed that Randy Basin and his wife is having regular contact with various Evangelist movements in Kerala with an ulterior motive to  proselytize the whole Hindu society into Christianity.

 

His works cause disharmony ,tension,anddisintegration in the society and such Foreigners roaming around is a threat to over national security.

 

On17th June 2007, Randy and his wife visited Piravam and had a detailed discussion with M.G.Mathew M.A.LLB of Perumbavoor at a pentacost church hall, Piravam. Mathew is an accused in a police case registered in Rajasthan in connection with the publication of anti-Hindu literatures. His publications were recovered by Rajasthan police in a search at his office of truth and life publication.P.O.Box.55 Perumbavoor 683542.

           

Roy the nephew of M.G.Mathew is working as secretary to  Randy Basin.

 

To prove the above fact, HAV provided the following strong evidence to the district collector.

4) Photograph of other three foreigners in AJ.Hall programme who are visiting Kerala under tourist visa and preaching Christianity to evangalise hindu people.

HAV leader asked the district collector and Director General Of Police, Trivandrum to take immediate action to stop the illegal activities of Randy Basin & Kimberly Basin and other foreigners and demanded their immediate deportation to their country.
