IISH conducts essay competition for students

Indian Institute of Sceintific Heritage invites essay from High school and College Students for the Saastra Ratna Award and Innovative and novel scientific ideas on any scientific and technological subjects from +!,”,Graduation and Post Graduation students.

There are three topics for this years essay competition and students can select any one of it.The Subjects are.

1.Indian Scientific Heritage

( This can include the mathematics, astronomy, health science, chemistry, physics etc)

2. Indian Technological Heritage

(This can include the civil engineering, metallurgy, ceramics, painting technologies)

3. The scientific achievements of modern India

(Any number of aspects area can be selected)  

The essay should contain full address, e mail address, phone number of the student, certificate from the Principal of the school / college and contact number of Principal.

Any students from any country at any age can participate in this Saastra Ratna Award Competition.

The essay neatly written or typed either in English or In Malayalam (within 2000 words) on one side of the paper should reach Sri. C. K. Haridas, Dy. General Manager (Retd) BSNL, Pournami, Anjali Gardens, Palakkad – 6 ( 0491- 2521234 / 9447003030) on or before November 25th 2006. More than 51 medals/ awards/ prizes will be given during the Saastra 2006 seminar to be held in Guruvayoor Town Hall, on 25th December, 2006
