‘Ideology is our strength’:P.K.Krishnadas

Thrissur:P.K.Krishnadas newly elected president of BJP emphasized that the real strength of the party in the State was nothing but its ideology, the newly elected leader called for unified efforts in the State with the RSS. “This being the Guruji birth centenary year, our efforts should be to reach the party to the booth level,” while addressing the gathering.  

He said he would strive to make the State unit of the party a powerful organisation. He also said that his style would be to foster unity in the party.

His first speech to the cadre after the presidential elections was both emotional and mature reminding them of the martyrdom of more than 250 members in the State. “The tears of the mothers and sisters who have lost their sons and brothers haven’t dried up,” said Krishnadas.

Former president Sreedharan Pillai, who addressed the gathering, said that the media was unduly critical of the party and such hype was unprecedented. “This is a land where we believe that truth is God. Hence the media should though be critical, be more factual.”
