KOZHIKODE: Endorsing the gravity of security concerns taking roots in Kerala, the Intelligence Bureau would soon station its exclusive anti-terrorist unit in the state.

The unit will exclusively and independently focus on increasing anti-national activities being exported from Kerala.

Reliable sources told this website’s newspaper that the IB would open anti-terror units in all districts given the growing worry about the issue. With this, Kerala officially enters the map of probable terror zones with the potential of witnessing strong jolts.

Though no finger is moving towards a panic button, security sources do not rule out the possibilities of sleeping cells hibernating in rural shelters.

The recent incident of letter bomb blasts further certify the existence of highly-qualified professionals capable of packing terror mails in more innovative wraps.
