Sources have revealed that the voice clip has been forged, o the basis of a conversation between a certain Razak hailing from Kannur and a volunteer of Hindu Helpline. The conversation begins with a welcome note from Hindu Helpline, into their initiatives. The caller, after identifying himself as a Muslim expresses a deep desire in converting to Hinduism. It further progresses to the caller asking what these converts would receive in monetary terms, in converting to Hinduism. The caller posing as volunteer, hands out the fake information that Muslims who convert would receive rupees five lakhs on an individual basis and Christians, two lakhs.
