Hindu Unity thwarted Temple looting by Government

via HK published on October 18, 2006

Kozhikode:Due to the unity and devotion of hundreds of Devotees in Kozhikode, The Government attempt to takeover the Temple properties of Azhakodi Devi temple was thwarted yesterday.

As part of Temple looting sponsored by Government the temple is already under  HRNC  but the Kalyanamandapam (Marriage Hall) attached with the temple is under Azhakodi Devi Charitable Trust formed by the Devotees in the area.

Eyeing on the income from the Marriage Hall, now the Government want to take over that also. This move is part of the well rehearsed agenda of Pseudo seculars to take the control of all Temples from the hands of Sincere Devotees and utilize the Temple money against the Hindus itself in the state.

Majority of the Temples in Kerala are under the control of Govt., and now they want to grab the left over few Temples too.

The Hindus in Kozhikode under the guidance of Hindu Organisations had thwarted other two attempts from our enemies. The timely interference of Hindu activist prevented the demolition of Temple in East hill in the name of Road Widening. The other one was the exposal of a fake swami in Karanthur who dared to make Cow meat in an Ashram for an iftar party.

Among the majority of Devotees who gathered in Azhakodi Temple to protest the Govt. move were Women and Children. The slogans raised by them forced the officials and police to go back.

Haindava Keralam appreciates the unity and devotion of the Devotees who raised themselves to protect the Temple property from the clutches of Pseudo secular Governmental Machinery. This unity should be a lesson to all Hindus in the state that if  you react together against the attempts to denigrate Hindus, no other force will dare to treat you as a second citizens in this land.
