Hindu Unity – the need of time

via Mahadev published on February 21, 2006

Cherukolpuzha :  The Cherukolpuzha Hindu maha mandalam on its concluding day of the week-long convention has exhorted that the Hindu unity is the need of the time and hence cooperate each other and maintain the unity in all possible arenas and to conduct discussions to make Hindu Unity a reality.

In a resolution passed at a meeting presided over by the president of Hindu Mahamandalam Adv.T N Upendranatha Kurup during the closing ceremony of 94th Ayroor-Cherukolpuzha Hindu Matha Parishath said that the decision taken by the major communities of Hindu society, the NSS and the SNDP after several discussions  has evoked new vigour and wakefulness among the Hindus.

In this scenario immediate steps have to be taken to fulfil this noble goal. We believe that as a beginning leaders of all respective organisations should meet and form a coordination committee and formulate future plans.

The meeting urged NSS and SNDP to take necessary steps immediately to implement the idea, put forward by Shri Mannathu Padmanabhan and Shri R Sankar in 1950, which then failed to take off due to some technical reasons.
