CHERTHALA : Hindu Aikya Vedi’s State General Secretary Shri Kummanam Rajasekharan said  Hindu temples in Kerala may come under attack anytime by evil forces.

He was addressing a big crowd of people at Cherthala during the Kshethra Raksha Yathra.  “Most of the famous temples in Kerala are under tight security including metal detectors but not a single policeman can be seen standing in front of a mosque or a church. This proves that Hindus are against violence,” said Kummanam.

The Hindu leader also said the decision to give the Raja Ravi Varma  Award to M.F. Hussain is nothing but vote bank politics of the Communist Party.

Hindu Aikya Vedi Alappuza district president N. Venugopal, Swami Mangalananda, Swami Ayyappadas and Marad Suresh were among prominent people who attended the function.
