Hindu Parliament to uphold Hindu Pride and Unity

Kochi:Meeting of various Hindu organization leaders held here to launch a Hindu Parliament.


 


Aim: To fasten the efforts for Hindu Unity and to play a proactive role in solving the problems faced by Hindu Society in Kerala.


 


40 Hindu organization leaders participated in the meeting called by Yogakshema Sabha. In the Press statement issued highlights following points.


 


1) Government has no right to change the Temple rituals and Traditions.


 


2) Hindu Parliament will reach a consensus in matters regarding Timely reforms of Temples, if warranted.


 


3) In each Hindu Temple, Idols are consecrated. So the Temple entry should be allowed only to those who believe in Idol worship.


 


4) The DYFI stand on the issue is mockery and a purposeful attempt to deviate from the grave issues state is facing.


 


5) Within a month Committee Members will find a consensus on the issue by travelling in all districts and discuss with Devotees, Spiritual Heads and Religious Scholars.  


 


6) Interference in Temple affairs by a Secular Government is the violation of Constitution and Ethics.


 


7)If the Government goes ahead to formulate an Ordinance, Hindu Parliament will oppose it strongly.


 


8) Committee Members will meet the Governor and MLAs to clear the air on the prevalent misunderstandings created by the present Government.


 


9)Thantris of Temples are in a sacred position and any attempt to defile them will be challenged.


 


10) Minister Sudhagaran should restrict himself from abusing Hindus and Thantris.


 


The Meeting was presided by Yogakshema Sabha President Mullanezhi Sivadasan Master and was inaugurated by Thrissur Thekkemadom Moopil Swamiyar Sankarananda Brahmanubhuthi inaugurated the meeting.


 


Hindu Leaders Kummanam Rajasekharan, Sreekumar Thamarapilly and Advocate Anilkumar led the meeting. Although NSS representatives were not present, the leaders informed that NSS have offered all supports to this initiative.


 


Co-ordinator Sreekumar Thamarapilly,Federation of SC-ST General Secretary K.K.Krishnankutty and  Brahmana Samajam President Advocate Anilkumar briefed the Press.
