Hindu cremation to Madhavikutty prior to Islamic Burial

Thiruvananthapuram: Kith and kin of Madhavikutty offered Hindu crematory rituals , secretly in the wee hours of Tuesday from the home of M D Nalappat’s wife’s house.

Though the sons and relatives of Madhavikutty have to fall in lines with the Islamic Fundamentalist’s pressure with regard to the Islamic cremation of the writer.Vedic scholars from Thiruvananthapuram palace presided over the last cremation ceremonies. Post cremation rituals which extends upto 41 days will also be followed by close blood relatives.  

Madhavikutty who got converted into Islam had later regretted of her decision and expressed it to many of her close freinds and relatives.When renowned writer Taslima Nasreen revealed the writer’s mind and regret never Madhavikutty denied it and her silence over Taslima’s clarification itself was seen as silent approval by many.

It has been reported that the move to cremate Madhavikutty in Pune itself by her sons were sabotaged by vested interests who are the flag bearers of Jihadi terrorism in the state.
