THIRUVANANTHAPURAM: Security has been beefed up in Kerala in the wake of the twin blasts in Hyderabad city.

Anti-sabotage teams, police personnel and dog squads were thoroughly checking railway stations, bus stands and markets at Kochi, the industrial capital of the state, police sources said on Monday.

Already, thousands of police personnel have been put on duty during the night across the state in view of the shopping spree in connection with the Onam festival.
