HC stops slaughtering of camels

Kochi, Dec 05
The Kerala High Court has today stayed slaughtering of two camels for selling its meat. The Court has also stopped selling of camel meat here as no license has been issued by the authorities. Besides, there is no doctor to certify whether the camel meat is edible. The court has also pointed out that there are no facilities to kill camels in the slaughtering houses in Kochi.
