HAV demands investigation by special police team

The State President of the Hindu Aikya Vedi, Mr J Sisupalan has demanded that the activities of the NDF like extremist organisations should be investigated by special police team.

Such a measure from the authorities is inevitable given the magnitude of the situation following the arrest of 15 NDF activists along with large quantity of weapons including in Ambanakulangara near Alapuzha, he said.

He said that the Hindu Aikya Vedi had time and again warned the authorities about the weapon training by extremists and the burglaries in the temples. Now the latest incident has proved our warnings were true, he added.
