Guruvayoorapan’s Estate and Holy Cows under Jihadi Threat

Valanchery: Police arrested a Jihadi in connection with the looting of Sandal wood trees from Lord Guruvayurappan’s estate here.

Jihadi Assainar and Abdul Rahman dare to cut down the sandal wood tress belonging to Sri Guruvayoorappan. Divine power alerted the Security personnel’s. Their timely intervention spoiled the Jihadi attempt to transfer the cut down sandal wood trees from site.

Police arrested Assainar , Abdul Rahman is absconding. Strict action should be taken against such criminal Jihadi’s for the very thought of looting Guruvayurappan’s property.

Vrindavanam Estate is a 100 acre estate at Vengad in Malapuram District, about 55 Kilometers from Guruvayur under the possession of Devaswom This is known as Vrindavanam Estate.

Besides this, there is a 25 acre plot called Gokulam where cows offered to the Lord by His devotees are maintained. At present there are about 550 cows in the estate.

If the Jihadi’s dare to loot Sandal Wood today, Tommorow they will butcher the holy cows. Devaswom Board members who loose their sleep over reforms in the Temple should take necessary steps to tighten the security against such threats.
