Gurumandiram at Cherai attacked

Kochi, Nov 20
The Sree Narayana Guru Mandiram at Cherai near here was attacked by miscreants in which the glass panel of the idol was found broken last evening.
This is the second attack on the Madiram the first being in 2002.
The devotees held a protest march at Cherai which a meeting is scheduled for today evening. The police are investigating and it has deployed a strong contingent in and around the place.
