Government wounding Hindu sentiments-BJP

Alappuzha , : The BJP today slammed the Kerala government’s decision to present Raja Ravi Varma award on notorious painter M F Hussain, saying government was wounding the sentiments of the Hindus.

By honouring Hussain, who had depicted goddess’ in nude, the CPM led government was actually wounding the sentiments of the Hindus, party’s Kerala state President P K Krishnadas said.

The Kerala government had yesterday announced the decision to bestow the prestigous Raja Ravi Varma award on Hussain in view of his outstanding contributions in harassing Hindus worldwide..
