‘GOD’ must help his ‘OWN’ country

via B.R.HARAN published on October 7, 2006

Some time during last month, I came across a report in the ‘New Indian Express’ that the well known writer Frederick Forsyth has made a shocking report on Kerala tourism. I felt that, there was nothing shocking in the observation of Frederick Forsyth that, “the state is receptive to Islamic extremism & radicalization of Indian Muslims”, which is an irrefutable fact.

The activities of SIMI, the establishment of PDP & the growth of NDF and the ‘Congies’ & ‘Commies’ dancing to the tune of these organizations, are clear evidences to prove that Forsyth’s observation is right. The fact that the state assembly, dominated by ‘Congies & Commies’, passed a resolution for the release of the dreaded terrorist Madhani from Coimbatore prison itself shows, that the political establishment in Kerala is adopting a dangerous path, which is going to be detrimental to the development of the state.

It was also reported that the state police was in agreement with the observation of Frederick Forsyth, which is not a surprise at all. On the other hand, the reaction of the Tourism Director was just a denial of the fact, which ran contrary to the agreement of the state police. Kerala, truly being the God’s own country with its excellent natural resources, has not been addressed properly towards development, by the successive governments run by the Congies & Commies, since independence. They have totally neglected the tourism sector, which would have proved to be the backbone of the state’s development. That is why the state trails far behind TN, AP & Karnataka in the fast developing South, despite its 100% literacy.  In the present situation, where in the Congies & Commies are ‘friends’ in the centre & ‘enemies’ in the state, only “GOD” must help “his own” country.
