Harippad: The Marxists have yet again launched their tirade of insults against Hindu culture and religion, this time in the form of a derogatory poster on Goddess Bhadrakali. The advertisement board made to ridicule and denigrate Godess was spotted near Kanjoor Devi temple by infuriated villagers, who promptly burnt the same.

The board was put up in NTPC junction in lieu of the Marxist party’s forth coming meet in Alappuzha. It was put up by the Red Brigade’s Vettikulangara, Cheppad branch.

The Marxists’ humiliating act infuriated the local inhabitants and they swarmed to the place. According to locals, “the derogatory form of the Goddess was made out of thermocol and was 10 feet high.”

“Also painted on the figure were symbols of elephant and Goddess Bhadrakali. On top of it was mounted the sickle hammer symbols of Marxists, with a red cloth banner tied to the lower portion. Hindu cultural and religious beliefs were ridiculed and derided,” said sources.
