Who is Monica Besra ? She is not a film star, though her name appears to be highly fashionable. She is a poor, illiterate tribal woman living in West Dinjapur, a remote village in West Bengal. But, this lady put the entire medical system of the whole world to shame. Allopathy, Homeopathy, Naturopathy and Ayurveda have all been made redundant.

Monica Besra is the inventor of Teresapathy a new medical system hitherto unknown to the whole world. Just by praying before the concrete idol of Teresa all diseases vanish. Even powerful diseases like cancer, AIDS, and even ZIKA virus vanish at the mere word Teresa. All medical colleges, hospitals, medical shops and pharmaceutical companies are going to shut down. This is the great Monica Besra who invented Teresapathy. As a bonus Teresa became a saint and was canonised by the Pope.

But poor Monica was not even given an economy class  return air ticket to go and see the drama being enacted in Rome, which she kick started. Rome was bursting with priests and bishops and cardinals and hordes of nuns to see Teresa being declared a saint. But Monica did not get a chance to see the dramatic show. Once they cleverly extracted a story about Teresa curing her Ovarian Tumour , there was no further use of her. No Missionaries of Charity or any Christian deemed it fit to send her to Rome to have a glimpse of the tamasha being enacted on the streets of Rome.

A foreign lady was declared a saint of India by a foreigner in a foreign country. What a farce ? When is Monica going to be crowned as Maker of Saints ? Please ask all your convert friends when is the canonization of Monica going to take place ? She is also likely to be awarded the Nobel Prize in Medicine for inventing Teresapathy
