Temples under a Secular Government is an irony especially when the very same Government have no say in the matters of Church or Mosque. Temples are controlled by these governments not out of their love or respect towards Hindus or Hinduism, But out of pure selfish motives to loot and destroy the temples. Two and Half crore Rupees have been recently
transferred from Guruvayur Devaswom to State Treasury.Corruption mounting to crores is taking place in Sabarimala.Rates of Temple offerings are increased annually by by several
folds. For Government Temples and Devaswom Boards may be yet another Bussiness Corporation to generate income like KSRTC or KTDC , But for Devotees it’s their place which the keep nearer to their heart.Hindu devotees know very well how to manage our temples, Government have no right to infringe upon the rights of Hindus, told Kummanam.
