Father Thomas Kottoor, Chancellor of Kottayam Diocese – Prime Culprit in Rape cum Murder of Sister Abhaya

via HK published on May 15, 2008

: Finally
Truth is out – Father Thomas Kottoor is the main culprit behind controversial Abhaya
Rape cum Murder Case. The CBI report submitted the investigation report infront
of Ernakulam Chief Judicial Magistrate after subjecting the four suspects under
Narco Analysis Test

Narco Analysis Test is a test carried out by injecting a person with
hypnotics. It was through this test that the CBI got valuable evidences
relating to Abhaya murder case.

The interim report of the Delhi Crime Unit of CBI says the final report will
be submitted on June 4. The sources from CBI say that the defendants and the officers,
who spoiled significant clues, including police officers, may be arrested after
submitting the final report.

Father Thomas Kottoor is at present the Chancellor of Kottayam Diocese. CBI
report shed light into illicit dealings happening in Convents and the role of Fathers
like Thomas Kottoor in exploiting sisters to satisfy their sexual needs. A Nun who
underwent Narco analysis tests is also involved in the murder.

Media activism which we witnessed in past few days to tarnish Hinduism in
Santhosh Madhavan case is evidently not at all seen among our Medias to pen
down the fact that their ‘Revered Priest’ is involved in this rape cum Murder
of a Pre Degree Student Sister Abhaya

Rape cum Murder of Sister Abhaya
Why do these foolish ladies offer themselves to the lust of padris is a question that defies logic. Poverty alone cannot be a justification. It is greed to get the luxuries that makes poor Hindu girls to turn nuns. Government must make it mandatory to verify the nun-hood ceremonies and also periodically conduct raids on these convents by Social Welfare Ministry. 5

    jaundiced reprting
For the few days all the Malayalam electronic media were busy in giving news about Santosh Madhavan and they tried in vain to picture him as a Hindu Swamiji. But they are keeping mum when a catholic priest rehearsed the original sin forcefully. The parents who send their daughters to nunneries should be vigil. Moreover all the activiteis of the fathers and the nuns should be brought into daylight. Under the pretext of the minority right they indulge in all sort of indecent and antisocial activites. 5

    Holy rape
It is surprising that Father(dammit)Thomas Kottor was not properly briefed about the purpose of orphanages attached to each nunnery or convents as that it is to take care of newborn citizens out of such holy union between celibate people in the service of God. If he knew it one is certain that he would have avoided committing such a gruesome act.The responsibility of such a crime therefore cannot be put on him but on the faculty of the seminary where he was trained as a priest. I hope the lawyer of the accused will take note of this point and ask for permission to cross examine Seminary faculty. 5

Rape cum Murder of Sister Abhaya
    Dear Neelima,

As far as my knowledge goes ,Sister Abhaya was from a Christian family ,not from a Hindu family. Because of the Dowry system ,many poor Xian families force their daughters to become nuns. 5

    Christian’s State
Kerala is the safest and like a heaven for Christians and their institutions. In this state of India, rules and police actions will be aimed at Hindu organizations and Hindu inividuals only. Peoples like Father Thomas Kottoor are living in Kerala with pride and safety, and in the future also Neither LDF OR UDF will touch them. Santhosh Madhavan like peoples were doing business to make money thru illegal ways. they ar not swamis or nothing do with Hinduism. They are belongs to Hindu religion and may be used the name of Hinduism and its grate knowledge from any of the original Hindu scholars. Media is afraid to write anything agaisnt Christian Mafia and Muringoor like institutions. If the Hindus and central Govt. is not taking care, Kerala may be the next Kashmir like state in India.
Anti Indian activities from some Muslim organizations are also happening in Kerala with the help of ISI and the funds are being transferred to them through Gulf countries and NRIs. Our Hindu organizations should think and plan about these things more than the daily dirty politics and utterences. No need to reply to the baseless utterences from the local leaders. How the Minister Sudhakaran talking about Hindu temples, Hindu priests etc openly ? Can he talk about the Muslim masjid’s and Christian churches like this ? This is happening because of he is in Kerala and Keralite Hindus are yet to learn about Hinduism and be proud to be a Hindu. He can not say like this in any other state in India. 5

    Sex Abuse Among Catholic Priests
Sex abuse by Catholic Prists is nothing new. It is as old as Catholicism. For centuries, monolithic Catholic Church has concealed and covered up sex abuse by priests and nuns. Now Human Rights organizations and Women’s Rights Groups around the world expose sex abuse by Catholic Priests and demand justice from the government. In this Sister Abhaya case, the public suspected involvement of the Church and the police in safegauarding the Catholic Priest. The CBI was forced to intervene and investigate the murder of the nun by the Catholic Priest. The sex murder case is the tip of the iceberg. The suppression and misdirection of the case clearly indicates the power of the Catholic Church over the government. Media is also responsible for misdirecting the case enquiry to save the Priest and the Church involved in the brutal murder of Sister Abhaya. 5

    Biased Media Coverage
    Dear All Namaskaram,
You might have noticed how Santosh Madhavan was given prime importance (offcourse he deserves punishment) whereas the culprit Father Thomas Kottor (Abhaya Case) who has been in the helm of affairs – Chancellor of Kottayam Diocese has been protected for all these years and who will be protected for coming years was not highlighted by media. Come on journalists show courage for unbiased reporting and that is the “True Pathra Dharmam”

    Journalistic Ethics
The Manorama News channel,Manorama News Paper and Mangalam News paper were celebrating the Santhosh Madhavan case by projecting his so called ‘SWAMI’ image. They also serialised features on false swamis in Kerala.I agree that journalists should expose all anti-social activities and individuals.

But when it comes to the Abhaya case these media houses are reluctant to even name the culprit of the case. But they took great pains to publish that Narco analysis cannot be taken as an evidence by citing history of various cases. The Kottayam Athirupatha(ATHI RUPA THA?)has immediately come up with a statement that a section of the media is trying to propagate false stories to divert attention from a certain news.

I think the real journalists committed to the society’s well being would realise this double standards and expose this dangerous trend in their field. The credibility of journalists in Kerala are at stake.

The minority communities are well organised and politically and economically powerful. The leaders of these communities swings into action when any community member is in difficulty. But the majority community is totally disorganised and are at the mercy of others. So it is the duty of the intellectuals, journalists, writers and politicians to come to the rescue of this orphans who have no one to seek help and support.

Even the young members of minority communities should realise how the majority community had always stood for their rights even by giving their own life. Now you have to pay that debt back. Now the Majority community in Kerala is being insulted everyday and being deprived of a decent and peaceful life. 5

Need for a HIndu paper to support their issues & concerns.
The following news appeared in Rediff.com today. The editorial board is controlled by Kerala Christians & they cunningly removed the reader comments option. But they kept the reader comments section for the allegation against some Kerala Swamis. Talk about double standards of converted toddy tappers.

Sixteen years after a teenage nun’s mysterious death made the headlines in Kerala [Images], the Central Bureau of Investigation has charged two priests and a nun with the crime.
The CBI has filed a chargesheet in the Sister Abhaya case against the two priests and a nun of the St Pius X Convent in Kottayam. The Bureau alleges that one of the priests bludgeoned Sister Abhaya to death after which the trio dumped her body in the convent well on March 27, 1992.

The CBI chargesheet is based on revelations made by the accused in a narcoanalysis test conducted at the Forensic Sciences Laboratory in Bengaluru.

The chargesheet also mentions influence exerted by several top bureaucrats to hush up the case.

A CBI officer told rediff.com that an investigation into this aspect of the case would be conducted and action initiated accordingly if the bureaucrats are found to be guilty.

The chargesheet alleges that witnessing her superiors in a compromising position proved fatal for Sister Abhaya, who was 18 years old at the time of her death.

Sister Abhaya, a resident of the convent, woke up at 4 am that fateful day. According to the CBI chargesheet, she went into the kitchen to drink water before attending the morning mass.

In the kitchen, the chargesheet alleges, she saw a priest and the nun, a senior staff member at the convent, in a compromising position. The chargesheet claims she also saw a second priest standing guard outside the kitchen.
When Sister Abhaya screamed in shock on witnessing the incident, the chargesheet alleges the first priest hit her with a blunt weapon he h 5

Christians must get down from the moral high horse !!
No one is safe from the evil sexual eyes of Church priests & nuns whether girls or boys. Sometimes one wonders whether the church is set up with the sole purpose of the sexual exploitation of the weakest members in society. At least these hypocrates should get down from the moral high horse they proclaim to be riding. Their lives are a real cloak & dagger story. Jesus must be turning in his grave!!

Lies always have a loop hole
I appreciate the efforts of our dept. Well it took years for this wonderful moment but still i knew that once this would come out. As one of the inmate of pious Xth in 1999, i realised that atleast one of the inmates of this hostel during the abhaya case in 1993 would come up with their comments to help the deceased family. So also if CBI tries to find out the old inmates of the Hostel in 1993, it would help a lot to the case.
I do recommend each people to come up show up their faces without a fear, coz this can happen to ur children tomorrow. We need the culprit to be punished.
And also as a christain too, i do like inform that its really shamful for the Sabha to keep these perpetrators for leading positions in the City. 5

The magistrate asked the accused whether they had anything to submit. The counsel for the first accused, Father Thomas Kottoor, submitted that he had moved a bail application. Kottoor submitted that he had been subjected to mental torture for the last two weeks, keeping them in dreadful environment. He became emotional as he spoke and submitted that he was prepared to go to any jail rather than be in the CBI custody.

The second accused, Father Jose Poothrukkayil, expressed satisfaction over the facilities provided by the CBI such as air-conditioned room to stay. He, however, complained of mental torture during the first seven days of custody when he was kept in a dark cell and not allowed to see light.

He said he had been forced to be a character in a story fabricated by the CBI and he was facing the predicament of the legendary Govardhan, who was chosen to be hanged solely for the reason that his neck was lean enough to suit the noose.

cant you see that this is a clear example of cbi just trying to hide the fact that they have not been able to complete this case in 16 years. it was a cop out due to torture that this conviction happened out of now where in the first place. A cbi office even commmitted suicide after the conviction stating the death was due to cbi. This case is completely setup and father kottoor is innocent. 5
