Fasting Sathyagraha of BJP leader enters 6th day

Thodupuzha: Fasting Sathyagraha by BJP District General Secretary P.P.Sanu entered 6^th day.

Fasting is part of the protest by BJP  demanding CBI enquiry in Robbery of Thiruvabharanam in Thodupuzha Srikrishnaswamy Temple and seeking permanent solution to water scarcity in the area from District administration.

Many organizations and public leaders in the area visited P.P.Sanu and conveyed their support for this protest for noble causes. Senior Swami of Amrithanandamayi Math, Devamritha Chaitanya visited Sanu and offered his blessings.

BJP District leadership is planning to intensify the protest in coming days, as the authorities are showing lack of apathy towards these issues.   

Meanwhile Police purposefully lathicharged a peaceful demonstration by BJP activists. Sensing the growing support to BJP’s protest by the public in the area, administration is resorting forceful measures to sabotage it.
